About Our Founder
Joseph Varney MD

Dr. Varney is a Master Medical Educator! During his time in medical school, he won multiple teaching awards, including the top Peer-to-Peer tutor award, the "Tarek Award." Aside from being the head tutor and founder of several tutoring companies, including Man of Heal, he has also published over 50 medical journal articles, including a surgical textbook (which is for sale at Barnes and Noble), and has recently begun his line of medical journals. He graduated top 20 of his class while holding substantial roles in the Student Government Association, Student Judiciary Committee, and the American Medical Student Association. His keys to success include mastering time management and teaching every medical topic at an 8th-grade level, which he instills in all the tutors and mentors he has trained for this course.
